Pleated to the Stripe

Maxine,
I have been thinking about where the Pleating should be. I would like the Red/White/Blue stripe to be visible, as well as the Gold stripe. My thought is, fold the Red/Blue stripe in half, till the Gold stripes on either side meet. I think this is what you suggested. Let me know. Thanks. :)

Its difficult to describe exactly what happens with the pleats. So here's a picture of what is possible. The picture shows 3 different arrangements - you can only have one!

Otherwise, you might prefer the standard "pleating to the sett", where the pleats follow the pattern.
